When do we know what we truly want to be? In my early twenties, I found success in advertising sales. I was good at it, and I grew professionally and personally over two decades. But my passion wasn’t there. Secretly, I dreamed of a career in real estate but hesitated, afraid to leave an industry I knew so well.
Then, in 2014, a turning point arrived. After celebrating a sales award, I returned home to noise-blaring walls in my townhouse. That day, I knew I needed more space—a home that felt like mine. Within a month, I bought a 1940s bungalow needing TLC and discovered a love for transforming it into a true home. That spark reignited my real estate dream, and this time, I listened.
Soon after, I became a licensed real estate agent. Starting over in my forties was daunting, and I had no financial backup if things didn’t work out. But deep down, I knew I’d excel. I took a deep breath, left my comfort zone, and jumped in.
Transitioning was easier than expected. My years in sales gave me a solid foundation, and the principles I live by—integrity, dedication, and honesty—translated seamlessly into real estate. Relationships are at the heart of my work. I prioritize each client’s unique needs, value their trust, and strive daily to exceed their expectations. What do I know now?
When you love what you do, getting out of bed is easy. Helping clients transition to new chapters is incredibly rewarding, and many become friends. Making the journey smooth for them brings me real joy.
